Local Bank Statement Converter is a client-side web application that converts bank statement PDF files into CSV format. All processing occurs entirely within your web browser using WebAssembly technology.

Important Notice: This is a personal project developed and maintained by an individual developer. This is not a commercial service or registered company.
3. User Responsibilities

- Only upload files you have the legal right to process
- Verify the accuracy of converted data before use
- Not attempt to reverse engineer, modify, or exploit the Service
- Not use the Service to process files containing malware or malicious content
4. Privacy and Data Processing
Your PDF files never leave your browser. All PDF processing happens locally on your device using WebAssembly. We do not:
- Upload your files to any server
- Store or retain any data from your PDFs
- Have access to the content of your bank statements
- Track or collect personally identifiable information from your files

5. Disclaimers and Limitations
5.1 No Warranty
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
5.2 Data Accuracy - IMPORTANT
WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THE ACCURACY OF THE CONVERTED DATA. The conversion from PDF to CSV may contain errors, missing transactions, or incorrect values due to:
- Variations in PDF formatting
- Complex or unusual statement layouts
- PDF quality or structure issues
- Limitations of the parsing algorithms
YOU MUST VERIFY ALL CONVERTED DATA BEFORE USE. Do not rely solely on the converted CSV for financial decisions, tax filing, accounting, or any other important purposes without thoroughly checking the accuracy against your original PDF statement.
The developer assumes no responsibility for any financial loss, tax errors, or other consequences resulting from inaccurate conversions.
5.3 Browser Compatibility
The Service requires a modern web browser with WebAssembly support. We do not guarantee functionality in all browsers or devices.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Local Bank Statement Converter and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from:
- Your use or inability to use the Service
- Any inaccuracies in converted data
- Any errors, mistakes, or inaccuracies in the Service
- Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers
- Any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from the Service

The Service, including its original content, features, and functionality, is developed by Priyanshu Dangi and is protected by applicable copyright laws.

8. Third-Party Services
The Service uses the following open-source technologies:
- Pyodide: Python runtime in WebAssembly (Mozilla Public License 2.0)
- pdfminer.six: PDF parsing library (MIT License)
These third-party components are subject to their respective licenses and terms.
9. Analytics and Tracking
We use Google Analytics to collect anonymous usage statistics (page views, browser type, general location). This data does not include the content of your PDFs or any personally identifiable financial information.
You can opt out of analytics by using browser extensions that block Google Analytics.
10. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
11. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including but not limited to breach of these Terms.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from the use of this Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.
